9am in the morning. my cousin called me. she was crying. sobbing. obviously something bad had happened. and i knew it concerned her dad, my uncle.
i had just visited my uncle yesterday in the hospital. he was suffering from some ilness. few months ago., he looked healthy, just like any normal human. but yesterday, he looked very different. it seems as if he has aged a few years.
he was bald. he looks tired. he cant really move. he cant do anything. he lays there, helpless. he cant speak properly. his eyes were droppy. hes not the uncle i had always knew. he was different. its a wonder how an ilness can change a person.
anyways, my cousin told me that her dad wasnt breathing properly and all. she was crying. she was sad. she was lost. she didnt know what to do. what if something bad had happened to her dad? i wasnt really that
close or
distant to my uncle. i cried when i heard that he couldnt breathe.
i cried. i didnt want anything bad to happen. a word appeared in my mind. i didnt want him to
die. because he was in a critical condition and all. siighs`. all the memories kept flooding. hari raya. all the important events. but unfortunately at 11.30am, he died.
my parents and granny at all were already in the hospital. and im here. at home. ive never experienced a death in my family before. this is the first. he was a nice uncle. he was friendly and everyone liked him. but now, he has passed away. what is going to happen to my cousin? she was very close to him. im sure she will be devastated.
i dont know. i just feel like writing this entry. this is not a cry for attention. i just want to tell you guys how i feel. hmm. and to my uncle. everyone will be missing you. rest in peace. god bless.
